Due to the production process or environment, most products need to go through multiple production workshops, from raw materials to finished products. For example, a large structural part must go through a blanking workshop and a machining workshop. However, the research on the serial multi-shop cooperative scheduling problem is insufficient. Different from the single shop scheduling problem, the multi-shop scheduling problem can be regarded as a scheduling problem composed of multiple sub-problems. Therefore, optimisation processes between subproblems may be the key to solving this kind of problem. This paper focuses on the optimisation framework for the serial multi-shop cooperative scheduling problem. A specific serial dual-shop collaborative scheduling problem is abstracted from the production, whose first and second shop is the hybrid flow shop and the job shop, respectively. A disjunctive graph model of this specific problem is constructed. After that, four different optimisation frameworks are proposed, and testing instances are designed to compare these frameworks. Under different optimisation frameworks, the same tabu search algorithm with an efficient neighbourhood structure is used to optimize this problem. Finally, the optimisation results of different frameworks are compared and the results of each optimisation framework are analyzed.

Optimisation framework and method for solving the serial dual-shop collaborative scheduling problem

Knowledge Management Implementation (KMI) can be analysed from three perspectives: Knowledge Management System (KMS) implementation, Knowledge Management Processes (KMPs) implementation and Organisational Outcomes (OO). Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conceived within the scope of quality, represents a method capable of bringing significant contributions to the knowledge field of KMI. The QFD method stands out as a comprehensive approach to improve the quality of products and services, focussing on customer requirements. The literature presents a scarcity of studies that discuss the KMI implementation process, addressing these three perspectives. Furthermore, studies that address QFD in the context of KM are more focussed on the KMS implementation perspective. In this context, this research proposes an innovative approach adopting QFD in order to structure the KMI, encompassing the three perspectives presented (KMS implementation, KMP implementation and OO). In this context, QFD is seen as a method of integrating and operationalising KMI activities. To validate this approach, we applied the case study in an academic support department at a Brazilian public university. As a result, it was possible to verify that the QFD helps in the operationalisation of the KMS and KMP and also improves OO. Still, it was observed that the approach to knowledge management seems to be easy to apply in the academic setting and has produced good results in the service offered in the department where it was applied.

Application of Quality Function Deployment as an Integrative Method to Knowledge Management Implementation

As the subject of pollutant emissions, enterprises play an important role in environmental governance and should consciously fulfil their environmental responsibility. So, can the enterprise perform environmental responsibility to increase their investment in research and development (R&D)? Based on the data from China’s Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed enterprises in 2011–2019, this paper explores the relationship between corporate environmental responsibility and R&D investment and examines the dual moderating effects of public attention and intellectual property protection. It is found that the implementation of corporate environmental responsibility can promote R&D investment. Public attention moderates the positive relationship between corporate environmental responsibility and R&D investment; it seeks that the positive relationship becomes higher with public attention. With higher regional intellectual property protection levels, the moderating effect of public attention on corporate environmental responsibility and R&D investment will be more obviously higher. This research provides theoretical support for enterprises to fulfil their environmental responsibilities and a new perspective for revealing the factors of enterprises’ R&D investment, which can offer a foundation for future research and practices.

Influence of Corporate Environmental Responsibility on R&D Investment: Dual Moderating Effects of Public Attention and Intellectual Property Protection

The core of human resources is the division of labour of enterprise employees. A human resource allocation method based on the E-CARGO model was designed to improve the development potential of enterprises and balance the preferences of managers and the task execution of employees in human resource allocation. This method was used to analyse the preferences of enterprise managers for employees and describe their preferences using the E-CARGO model. Then the OCAT method was used to mine the relationship between the team execution and the preferences of managers to find the balance between the two. The results showed that the experimental Scheme found the balance between the team execution and the preferences of managers. The original experimental scheme found three balance points, the improved scheme found three balance points, and the improved scheme found one balance point and one balance interval. Among the three experimental schemes, the improvement Scheme 1 achieved the highest execution ability and the shortest time. The research successfully analyses the relationship between the team execution and the preferences of managers in enterprise human resource assignment and puts forward a human resource assignment scheme that takes both into account. 

Role Balance Assignment Based on OCAT Method in Human Resource Planning

At present, the learning ability satisfaction of university students under the blended learning mode is low, and this has an impact on the effect of teaching and students’ learning experiences. In order to effectively improve learning ability satisfaction, empirical research and a structural equation model were used to explore the influencing factors of university students’ learning ability satisfaction. This study identified the influencing factors of university students’ learning ability satisfaction under the blended learning model, and constructed a structural equation model of these factors based on their relationship with learning ability satisfaction. The model was verified and optimized to determine the weight of factors that affected university students’ learning ability satisfaction. The study showed that the external and internal factors with the greatest effect on university students’ learning ability satisfaction were resource support and learning self-efficacy, respectively. Internal influencing factors had a greater impact on the satisfaction of university students’ learning abilities than external factors. This study will expand the existing research perspective on learning ability satisfaction, provide important references for improving curriculum design and teaching effectiveness, and provide a theoretical basis for solving various practical questions caused by low learning ability satisfaction in teaching practice.
