Nonlinear group contribution model for the prediction of flash points using normal boiling points
TL;DR: In this article, a simple and accurate group contribution method to predict the flash point of pure organic compounds is presented, which requires only the molecular structure and normal boiling point as input information.

Artificial Neural Network-Group Contribution Method for Predicting Standard Enthalpy of Formation in the Solid State: C–H, C–H–O, C–H–N, and C–H–N–O Compounds
Soufiane Guella,Kadda Argoub,Ali Mustapha Benkouider,Ahmed Yahiaoui,Rachid Kessas,Farid Bagui +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an artificial neural network-group contribution model is developed to predict the standard enthalpy of formation in the solid (crystal) state of pure compounds, and the obtained results show an average absolute deviation of $$9.33 \,\hbox {kJ}{\cdot }\h box {mol}^{-1}$$ and a coefficient of determination of 0.9972 for the experimental values.

Organoclay/conjugated polymer nanocomposites: structural, thermal, and electrical properties
TL;DR: A detailed study about the chemical oxidative polymerization of aniline with/or 2-aminothiazole in the presence of an organoclay has been reported in this article, where the effect of varying the reaction time and oxidant/monomer and co-monomer molar ratio on the polymer yield was investigated.

Synthesis and Characterization of Conducting Poly(2-aminothiazole)/Modified-Clay Nanocomposites
Leila Mouacher,Ahmed Yahiaoui,Aïcha Hachemaoui,Abdelkader Dehbi,Ali Mustapha Benkouider,Adelkarim Bendoukha Reguig +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a poly(2-aminothiazole)/organoclay nanocomposites were synthesized via intercalative in situ oxidative polymerization of 2-amino-thiazole using ammonium persulfate as an initiator.
