Assessing bioink shape fidelity to aid material development in 3D bioprinting
Alexandre Ribeiro,Maarten M. Blokzijl,Riccardo Levato,Claas Willem Visser,Miguel Castilho,Miguel Castilho,Wim E. Hennink,Tina Vermonden,Jos Malda +8 more
TL;DR: An easy way to assess bioink shape fidelity, applicable to any filament-based bioprinting system and able to quantitatively evaluate this aspect of printability, based on the degree of deformation of the printed filament is proposed.

Simultaneous Micropatterning of Fibrous Meshes and Bioinks for the Fabrication of Living Tissue Constructs.
TL;DR: In this paper, extrusion-based bioprinting and melt electrowriting (MEW) are combined to enable fabrication of aligned (sub-micrometer) fibers into a single-step biofabrication process.

Study of the influence of titanium and niobium particle size on the Ti35Nb alloy production with controlled porosity
Francis Faria Goulart,Alexandre Ribeiro,Débora Way,Lais de Souza Alves,Carlos Angelo Nunes,Lucas Moreira Ferreira,R.M. Balestra +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the porosity levels were determined by geometric method, Archimedes' principle and quantitative metallographic analysis, and the results showed that the processing parameters used in this work successfully produced porous Ti35Nb alloys with completely stabilized β-Ti phase, indicating an enhancement in the methodology when compared with those reported in previous work.
