TL;DR: In this article, the stability of speed-gradient control of singulary perturbed Hamiltonian systems was studied both theoretically and by computer simulation. But the results were not extended to the case of differential finite speed gradient algorithms.

Output Feedback Energy Control of String PDE Model
TL;DR: First, the speed-gradient method is generalized in the present framework to pump/dissipate the energy of underlying model to a desired level provided the state feedback is available, and Luenberger-type observers are developed over collocated position and/or velocity measurements to be involved into the output feedback synthesis.
