Plasma modification of viscose textile
TL;DR: In this paper, a study on plasma treatment of a textile was presented, where samples of pure viscose textile were exposed to RF oxygen, nitrogen or hydrogen plasma for 5 s. The gas pressure was 75 Pa and the RF power was 250 W.

A diagnostic method for real-time measurements of the density of nitrogen atoms in the postglow of an Ar–N2 discharge using a catalytic probe
TL;DR: In this paper, the density of neutral nitrogen atoms in an Ar-N2 postglow using a fiber-optics catalytic probe was determined by comparing the probe signal with the NO titration.

TL;DR: In this paper, surface effects during plasma activation of poly( p -phenilene sulphide) have been studied and the surface tension was determined by measuring the contact angle of deionized water, while the appearance of surface functional groups was detected by XPS.

Synthesis of Vertically Oriented Graphene Sheets or Carbon Nanowalls-Review and Challenges.
TL;DR: The key scientific challenge is providing the growth rate as well as morphological and structural properties of CNWs thin films versus plasma parameters, in particular versus the fluxes of reactive plasma species onto the substrate surface.

Rapid surface functionalization of poly(ethersulphone) foils using a highly reactive oxygen‐plasma treatment
TL;DR: In this article, the oxygen-plasma functionalization of polyethersulphone (PES) samples were exposed to a weakly ionized, highly dissociated oxygen plasma, with an electron temperature of 5 eV and a positive ion density of 8 x 10 15 m -3, and its afterglow, in which the density of charged particles was negligibly low and the density density of neutral oxygen atoms was 4 x 10 21 m −3.
