Comparative numerical analysis and optimization of blood vessels heated using various lasers
TL;DR: Numerical simulation was introduced to study selective vessel heating using diode laser, Nd:YAG laser, copper vapor laser and pulsed dye laser radiation, and the validity of the model is confirmed.

Treatment of basal cell cancer with a pulsed copper vapor laser: A Case Series
TL;DR: Dual-wavelengths CVL treatment of periorbital BCC provided a complete elimination of malignant cells and dysplastic vessels during one procedure and provides relevant cosmetic results without ocular injuries and relapses.
Numerical simulation of port-wine stain blood vessel selective heating using a copper vapor laser with a scanner
Abstract: Numerical simulation was used to select the most efficient, safe and secure scanner operating modes when treating port-wine stains with a copper vapor laser. Scanner operating modes for selective heating of dysplastic vessels in port-wine stains were determined.

TL;DR: A dual-wavelengths laser exposure to CVL with wavelengths, one of which provides the high absorption by melanin (511 nm), and the other by oxyhemoglobin (578) nm is used to analyze the effect of the relationship between the contribution of CVL radiation and the optical characteristics of the photoactive targets of the basal layer and blood in the pathological vascular bed of BCC.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors applied numerical modeling of selective heating of skin vessel with copper vapor laser (CVL) to determine both the depth of the vessel location and diameter of vessels targeted for selective and safe coagulation by means of the laser irradiation.
