Acute chemoradiotherapy toxicity in cervical cancer patients.
Marija Zivkovic Radojevic,Aleksandar Tomašević,Vesna Plesinac Karapandzic,Neda Milosavljevic,Slobodan M. Jankovic,Marko Folić +5 more
TL;DR: It has been shown that BMI, radiation dose received by the bladder and rectum are of exceptional importance for the occurrence of the ART and also that therapy with ACE inhibitors was associated with the decreased chances of theART.

Acute toxicity of postoperative intensity-modulated radiotherapy and three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy for cervical cancer: The role of concomitant chemotherapy.
Dragoslava Marjanovic,Vesna Plesinac Karapandzic,Suzana Stojanovic Rundic,Aleksandar Tomašević,Milan Saric,Ivana Miskovic,Borko Nidzovic,Predrag Petrasinovic +7 more
TL;DR: IMRT is associated with lower acute toxicity and better dosimetric parameters in organs at risk (OAR) compared to 3DCRT and higher hematological toxicity occurred when concomitant chemotherapy was performed, regardless of RT technique.

3D MRI-based evaluation of the 2D brachytherapy planning in patients with advanced cervical cancer: An analysis of the delivered dose.
Aleksandar Tomašević,Vesna Plesinac Karapandzic,Suzana Stojanovic Rundic,Sandra Vuckovic,Petar Milinkovic,Dusica Gavrilovic,Dragoslava Marjanovic,Dragana Stanic,Mirjana Mikovic,Predrag Petrasinovic +9 more
TL;DR: 2D radiography-based BRT planning can provide a good estimation for the bladder and rectum 3D D2ccm dose with a significant statistical difference for the doses in the smaller OAR volumes, but inability to visualize tumor tissue during 2DBRT planning provides no option in tailoring the dose distribution to the tumor volume and patient anatomy, leading to potential under/over-treatment in some patients.

Implementation of intensity-modulated radiotherapy and comparison with three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy in the postoperative treatment of cervical cancer.
Dragoslava Marjanovic,Vesna Plesinac Karapandzic,Suzana Stojanovic Rundic,Aleksandar Tomašević,Milan Saric,Ivana Miskovic,Borko Nidzovic,Mirjana Mikovic,Predrag Petrasinovic +8 more
TL;DR: Satisfactory target volume coverage was achieved with both techniques, with better sparing of OARs in the IMRT group, and IMRT is a highly conformal technique.

Analysis of postoperative radiotherapy effects within risk groups in patients with FIGO I, II, and III endometrial cancer.
Vladan Popovic,Neda Milosavljevic,Marija Zivkovic Radojevic,Radiša Vojinović,Nikola Nedovic,Slobodanka Mitrovic,Jasmina Nedovic,Aleksandar Tomašević +7 more
TL;DR: Adjuvant radiotherapy can potentially prolong survival and prevent recurrence, with acceptable level of toxicity, to preserve patient's quality of life.
