One-pot synthesis of cinnamoyl hydrazides
TL;DR: An efficient one-pot conversion of cinnamic acids and heterocyclic analogs into the corresponding hydrazides in good to excellent yields under mild conditions involves hydrazinolysis of the intermediate N-acylbenzotriazoles.
Correlation of the Solubilities of Gases and Vapors in Methanol and Ethanol with Their Molecular Structures
TL;DR: Two four-parameter quantitative structure-property relations gave good correlations for the solubilities of 87 gases and vapors in methanol and 61 in ethanol.

Peptidomimetics via Modifications of Amino Acids and Peptide Bonds
TL;DR: A review of peptidomimetics that are formed via heteroatom replacement within the native amino acid backbone can be found in this article, where structural features, utility and preparative methods are discussed.

Novel and Convenient Synthesis of Aroyl-, Heteroaroyl-, Alkenoyl-, and Alkynoylsilanes
TL;DR: In this article, a two-step route to aryl-, hetero-aryl-, alkenyl-, and alkynylacylsilanes is described, where the corresponding aldehyde−benzotriazole−ethanol condensation products are treated with butyllithium and then reacted with trialkylsilyl chlorides to yield the substituted intermediates.
