TL;DR: Interestingly, the relative Gαi2 expression was correlated to both bromocriptine inhibition of in vitro PRL secretion and D2 receptor mRNA levels, and could result from a decrease in D2 dopamine receptors associated with a decreases in Gα i2 expression.

TL;DR: The results suggest that the intracellular calcium concentrations that are measured under basal and TRH-stimulated conditions are sufficient to allow the maximal activity of phospholipase C which can be obtained under these two experimental conditions.
