Expression of Angiotensin II Receptor Subtypes AT1A and AT1B in Enriched Fractions of Dispersed Rat Pituitary Cells
C. Moreau,R. Rasolojanahary,Alfredo J. Zamora,Alain Enjalbert,Claude Kordon,Catherine Llorens-Cortes +5 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that expression of AT1 receptor subtypes is heterogeneous in different populations of lactotropes and corticotropes.

Truncation of PITX2 differentially affects its activity on physiological targets.
Marie-Helene Quentien,Véronique Vieira,Maurice Menasche,Jean-Louis Dufier,James P. Herman,Alain Enjalbert,Marc Abitbol,Thierry Brue +7 more
TL;DR: Y167X is the first mutation of PITX2 described to result in a differential effect on the activation of its different physiological targets, hPRL and POU1F1 on one hand and hGH on the other hand, and might form the basis for the identification of the PITx2 protein complex necessary for the differential GH or PRL expression.
RET gene mutations are not involved in the origin of human testicular seminoma.
Nicolas Chevalier,Anne Barlier,Catherine Roche,Baharia Mograbi,P. Camparo,Mojgan Devouassoux-Shisheboran,J.-F. Michiels,Marielle Nebout,Daniel Chevallier,Mohamed Benahmed,Alain Enjalbert,Patrick Fénichel +11 more
TL;DR: Human classical seminoma that occurs in young men does not appear to be linked with mutations or relevant polymorphisms of RET, and polymorphic variants frequencies did not differ from those in a control Caucasian population.

Sensitivity of thyrotropin (TSH) secretion to 3,5,3'-triiodothyronine and TSH-releasing hormone in rat during starvation.
Jean-Noel Hugues,Alain Enjalbert,Albert G. Burger,Marie-Jeanne Voirol,Jacques Sebaoun,Jacques Epelbaum +5 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that starvation induces an increased sensitivity of thyrotroph cell to T3, and there was a significant positive correlation between TSH responsiveness to TRH and hypophyseal TSH content.

Protein Kinase Cδ as Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone Target Isoenzyme in the αT3-1 Gonadotrope Cell Line
TL;DR: GnRH may regulate time-dependent cell responses by modulating the phosphorylation/activation state of its signal transduction effector proteins, and by maintaining their appropriate expression balance via proteolytic processes involving the proteasome system.
