Adhesion between Semihard Polymer Materials Containing Cyclodextrin and Adamantane Based on Host–Guest Interactions
Takahiro Kakuta,Yoshinori Takashima,Takaaki Sano,Takashi Nakamura,Yuichiro Kobayashi,Hiroyasu Yamaguchi,Akira Harada +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, host-guest interactions realize a strong adhesive strength between semihard materials based on polyacrylamide xerogel by using a minimal amount of water.
Photocontrolled Size Changes of Doubly-threaded Dimer Based on an α-Cyclodextrin Derivative with Two Recognition Sites
Shujing Li,Daisuke Taura,Akihito Hashidzume,Yoshinori Takashima,Hiroyasu Yamaguchi,Akira Harada +5 more
TL;DR: The hydrodynamic size of a doubly-threaded dimer of an α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) derivative bearing two recognition sites, azobenzene (Azo) and heptamethylene moieties (C7), linked with an oligo(ethyle) was shown in this paper.
Preparation and activity of ruthenium catalyst based on β-cyclodextrin for ring-opening metathesis polymerization
Daichi Yoshida,Garry Sinawang,Motofumi Osaki,Hiroyasu Yamaguchi,Akira Harada,Yoshinori Takashima +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a supramolecular catalyst (Ru-βCD Cat) was used for ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) by modifying second generation Grubbs catalyst (M204) with β-cyclodextrin (βCD) derivative (VPheβCD), which was demonstrated using 7-oxanorbornene-2,3-dicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester (ONorCOOMe).
