Aneurysmatic arteriovenous fistula complicating splenic injury
TL;DR: A child with a posttraumatic aneurysmatic arteriovenous (AV) fistula located in the spleen is presented and the increased use of more conservative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in splenic injuries might lead to underestimation of some uncommon complications.

Renal parenchymal malacoplakia: a different stage of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis?
TL;DR: A 6-year-old patient with a poorly functioning kidney who had a prolonged recurrent urinary tract infection is presented and histologic analysis revealed an inflammatory infiltration consisting predominantly of foamy and epithelioid histiocytes that contained round intracytoplasmic concretions characteristic of Michaelis-Gutmann bodies.

Neuronal intestinal and fibromuscular arterial dysplasias associated with intraluminal mucosal web.

Vaginal atresia and Bardet-Biedl syndrome association: A component or a distinct entity?
TL;DR: In girls with Bardet-Biedl syndrome, vaginal atresia or other structural genital anomalies should be evaluated more systematically during the initial diagnosis of the syndrome.

Epidermoid cyst of the spleen with elevated levels of CA125 and carcino-embryonic antigen.
TL;DR: This finding shows that serum CEA, CA19–9 and CA125 levels had been elevated in patients with epidermoid cyst in whom epithelium was positive for anti-CEA and anti-CA19-9 antibodies and leak into the bloodstream, presumably as a result of trauma or increasing pressure within the cyst.
