Investigation of Mass-Produced Substrates for Reproducible Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering Measurements over Large Areas
Andreas Reyer,Adrian Prinz,Stefano Giancristofaro,Johannes Schneider,Durval Bertoldo Menezes,Gregor A. Zickler,Gilles R. Bourret,Maurizio Musso +7 more
TL;DR: A simple mass production technology based on Blu-ray disc manufacturing technology is used to prepare large area SERS substrates with a high degree of homogeneity and enhancement factor and it is suggested that the sample microstructure is responsible for the generation of SERS active nanostructures around the microwells.

Nanoimprint Replication of Biomimetic, Multilevel Undercut Nanostructures.
Michael Muehlberger,Stephan Ruttloff,Dieter Nees,Amiya Moharana,Maria R. Belegratis,Philipp Taus,Sonja Kopp,Heinz D. Wanzenboeck,Adrian Prinz,Daniel Fechtig +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate the process chain for Morpho-blue-inspired nanostructures, which are especially challenging for the nano-print process, since they consist of multilayer undercut structures, which typically cannot be replicated using nanoimprint lithography.

Industrial view of plasmonic devices made by nanoimprint or injection molding
Iris Prinz,Michael J. Haslinger,Michael Mühlberger,Gottfried Reiter,Adrian Prinz,Martina M. Schmidt,Thorsten Schaller,Maria Bauer,Maurizio Musso,Georg Bauer +9 more
TL;DR: A perspective of the industrial realization of plasmonic devices especially for life science and in vitro diagnostic applications is presented and Nanoimprint Lithography and injection molding as scalable processes for high volume manufacturing are discussed.
Mastering of NIL Stamps with Undercut T-Shaped Features from Single Layer to Multilayer Stamps
Philipp Taus,Adrian Prinz,Heinz D. Wanzenboeck,Patrick Schuller,Anton Tsenov,Markus Schinnerl,Mostafa M. Shawrav,Michael J. Haslinger,Michael Muehlberger +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single-layer undercut T-shaped structure was constructed using phase transition material (PTM) on poly-Si and a multilayer-stack of silicon oxide on silicon.

Substrate for fluorescence amplification
Christoph Mauracher,Georg Bauer,Adrian Prinz,Aichinger Gottfried,Gerhard Hawa +4 more
- 16 Sep 2016
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of a substrate for the amplification of the fluorescence of a fluorescent molecule is described, where the substrate comprises a solid polymeric support with a plurality of depressions which are separated from one another and the solid support is at least partially coated with at least one metal.
