Functional analysis for probability and stochastic processes : an introduction
Adam Bobrowski
- 11 Aug 2005
TL;DR: The Gelfand transform and its application in functional analysis is discussed in this article, as well as its applications in the context of Markov processes and semigroups of operators.
A note on distributions of times to coalescence, under time-dependent population size.
TL;DR: Expressions for marginal distributions of times in the time-varying coalescence process are derived for increasing efficiency and accuracy of simulations in time- varying evolution, and debugging coalescence simulation software.

From Diffusions on Graphs to Markov Chains via Asymptotic State Lumping
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that fast diffusions on finite graphs with semi permeable membranes on vertices can be approximated by finite-state Markov chains provided the related permeability coefficients are appropriately small.

Qualitative analysis of controlled drug resistance model - inverse Laplace and and semigroup approach
TL;DR: In this article, some properties of a finite state model of dynamic resistaunables have been found for stability and stability in the context of dynamic control theory and control theory, and the model has been shown to be asymptotically stable.
