Novel Insights into Exogenous Phytohormones: Central Regulators in the Modulation of Physiological, Biochemical, and Molecular Responses in Rice under Metal(loid) Stress
Saqib Bilal,Syed Saad Jan,Muhammad Shahid,Sajjad Asaf,Abdul Latif Khan,Lubna,Ahmed N. Al-Rawahi,In-Jung Lee,Ahmed Al-Harrasi +8 more
TL;DR: Complete evidence is provided for the effective role of exogenous phytohormones in employing defense responses and tolerance in rice to the phytotoxic effects of HM toxicity along with endogenous hormonal crosstalk for modulation of subcellular mechanisms and modification of stress-related signaling pathways, and uptake and translocation of metals.

Unraveling the Genome Sequence of Plant Growth Promoting Aspergillus niger (CSR3) Provides Insight into the Synthesis of Secondary Metabolites and Its Comparative Genomics
Lubna,Sajjad Asaf,Rahmat Jan,Abdul Latif Khan,Saqib Bilal,Saleem Asif,Ahmed Al-Harrasi,Kyungmin Kim +7 more
TL;DR: Comparative genomic analysis was used to provide insights into the genome’s evolution and to elucidate the adaptive genomic signatures for bioactive secondary metabolites, hormones biosynthesis, and plant growth promoting activities and improve understanding of the CSR3 genome.
First reported chloroplast genome sequence of Punica granatum (cultivar Helow) from Jabal Al-Akhdar, Oman: phylogenetic comparative assortment with Lagerstroemia.
TL;DR: The complete chloroplast genome of the native P. granatum will aid in taxonomical studies of the family Lythraceae and identify potential plastid markers for taxonomic and phylogenetic studies in Myrtales.

Construction of Anti-codon Table of the Plant Kingdom and Evolution of tRNA Selenocysteine (tRNASec)
Tapan Kumar Mohanta,Awdhesh Kumar Mishra,Abeer Hashem,Elsayed Fathi Abd_Allah,Abdul Latif Khan,Ahmed Al-Harrasi +5 more
TL;DR: The anti-codon table of the plant tRNA will enable to understand the synonymous codon usage of the plants kingdom and can be very helpful to understand which codon is preferred over other during the translation.
