Conservation of Agricultural Soil Using Entomopathogenic Fungi: An Agent With Insecticides Degradation Potential
Song-Quan Ong,Hamdan Ahmad,Abdul Hafiz Ab Majid,Zairi Jaal +3 more
- 01 Nov 2019
TL;DR: The results suggested M. anisopliae may play a role in the bioremediation of soil and the ecological role of entomopathogenic fungi in degrading insecticides in soil is not well understood.

Colony Genetic Organization and Breeding Pattern of Subterranean Termite (Reticulitermes flavipes) over the Three Field Seasons in Nebraska, U.S.A
Abdul Hafiz Ab Majid,Shripat T. Kamble,Hong Chen +2 more
- 09 Jul 2014
TL;DR: The data indicated that termite colonies could form through the colonies fusion over time under natural conditions and probably could be influenced by seasonal temperature change.

Isolation and Characterization of Novel Polymorphic Microsatellite Markers for Cimex hemipterus F. (Hemiptera: Cimicidae).
TL;DR: All seven molecular microsatellite markers identified can be beneficially used to gain more information on the population genetic structure and breeding patterns of C. hemipterus as well as the relationship of dispersal and infestation.

Testing the Effectiveness of Implementing a Model of Mental Healthcare Involving Trained Lay Health Workers in Treating Major Mental Disorders Among Youth in a Conflict-Ridden, Low-Middle Income Environment: Part II Results.
Ashok Malla,Mushtaq Ahmed Margoob,Mushtaq Ahmed Margoob,Srividya N. Iyer,Srividya N. Iyer,Abdul Hafiz Ab Majid,Shalini Lal,Shalini Lal,Ridha Joober,Bilal Issaoui Mansouri +9 more
TL;DR: The results show that an LHW-based service model, implemented in a rural setting of a low-to-middle income region plagued by long-term conflict, benefits young people with major mental disorders.

Colony Genetic Structure of Reticulitermes flavipes (Kollar) from Natural Populations in Nebraska
TL;DR: Genetic markers are a powerful tool to investigate the breeding structure and population genetics of subterranean termites, and the analyses of F-statistics and relatedness coefficients indicated that the colonies were often inbred, suggesting they contained neotenic reproductives.
