Patent
Water soluble concentric multi-wall carbon nanotubes
Sabyasachi Sarkar,Abdul Allam +1 more
- 29 Feb 2008
TL;DR: Water soluble carbon nanotubes (WSNT) have been made to function by functionalizing with carboxylic acid groups as discussed by the authors, which can contain a pharmaceutical composition for release by a biological degradation agent of the WSNT.

Patent
Water filtration system using hybrid nano carbon, silver, iron and aluminium oxide
Sabyasachi Sarkar,Abdul Allam,Afreen Allam,Iffat Allam,Arsheen Allam +4 more
- 08 Mar 2013
TL;DR: In this article, a filter for filtering water comprising carbon nanospheres from pyrolytic combustion of a carbonaceous material such as plant material which are activated with silver nitrate, activated alumina and/or ferrous oxide is presented.

Patent
Nanoparticle compositions and methods of making and using the same
Sabyasachi Sarkar,Arsheen Allam,Afreen Allam,Abdul Allam +3 more
- 28 Sep 2016
TL;DR: Water soluble graphene oxide nanoparticles (GO) as discussed by the authors have been shown to cross the blood brain barrier in a mouse model of vascular dementia, and methods for reversible encapsulation of a molecule within water soluble carbon nanoparticles including the GO nanoparticles are provided that allow for delivery of the wsCNP loaded with therapeutic and/or imaging agents to a subject in need by releasing the therapeutic/imaging agent upon an increase in pH above about 7.2.

Patent
Making and using composite material containing nanospheres and devices for water filtration and devices containg such composites
Sabyasachi Sarkar,Abdul Allam,Afreen Allam,Iffat Allam +3 more
- 13 Jul 2011
TL;DR: In this article, the method of producing concentric carbon nanospheres from the pyrolytic combustion of a carbonaceous material such as plant material is described, where the material can be carboxylated and then optionally metallated to produce nanosphere capable of filtering a liquid such as water.
Patent
