Generalizing Tanisaki's ideal via ideals of truncated symmetric functions
Aba Mbirika,Julianna Tymoczko +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors define a family of ideals I h in the polynomial ring of Hessenberg functions (equivalent to Dyck paths or ample partitions) that generalize algebraically and geometrically the Tanisaki ideal.
Lattice Point Visibility on Generalized Lines of Sight
TL;DR: It is proved that the proportion of b-visible integer lattice points is given by 1/ζ(b + 1), where ζ(s) denotes the Riemann zeta function.

Lattice point visibility on generalized lines of sight
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the proportion of visible integer lattice points is given by 1/\zeta(b+1), where the Riemann zeta function denotes the Zeta function.

Coprime and Prime Labelings of Graphs.
Adam H. Berliner,Nathaniel Dean,Jonelle Hook,Alison Marr,Aba Mbirika,Cayla D. McBee +5 more
- 01 Jan 2016
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that a simple graph of order n is a coprime labeling in which adjacent vertices are given relatively prime labels, and a graph is prime if the labels used can be taken to be the first n positive integers.
