Design and Resource Allocation of NOMA-based Transmission Scheme for Industrial Collaborative AR
Farnaz Khodakhah,Aamir Mahmood,Sarder Fakhrul Abedin,Kyi Thar,Patrik Österberg,Mikael Gidlund +5 more
- 04 Dec 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed a collaborative non-orthogonal multiple access (C-NOMA)-enabled transmission scheme by exploiting the fact that multi-user interaction often leads to common and individual views of the scenario (e.g., the region of interest).

PER Approximation for Cross-Layer Optimization under Reliability and Energy Constraints.
TL;DR: This paper revisits the packet error rate (PER) performance of uncoded schemes in block fading channels and derives a simple and accurate PER expression, and optimize signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and modulation order at physical layer, and the packet length and number of retransmissions at link layer with respect to distance under the prescribed delay and reliability constraint.
Convergence of MEC and DRL in Non-Terrestrial Wireless Networks: Key Innovations, Challenges, and Future Pathways
Syed Asad Ullah,Hatem Abou-Zeid,Hassaan Khaliq Qureshi,Aamir Mahmood,Mikael Gidlund,M. Imran,Ekram Hossain +6 more
TL;DR: This paper explores the convergence of Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) in Non-Terrestrial Wireless Networks (MeNT-WiNs), highlighting DRL's potential to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and decision-making processes in MeNT-WiNs, particularly in satellite communications and autonomous aerial vehicles.
