Virinder S. Parmar,Rajni Jain,Sunil K. Sharma,A. Vardhan,Amitabh Jha,Poonam Taneja,Suddham Singh,B. Vyncke,Marc Bracke,Marc Mareel +9 more
TL;DR: The anti-invasive activity of 3,7-dimethoxyflavone was found at concentrations ranging from 1 to 100 microM and the molecule did not inhibit growth of MCF-7/6 cell aggregates nor of heart fragments kept in suspension culture.

Absolute configuration of epi-rhododendrin and (–)-rhododendrol [=(–)-betuligenol] and X-ray crystal and molecular structure of rhododendrin [= betuloside], a hepatoprotective constituent of Taxus baccata
Virinder S. Parmar,A. Vardhan,Poonam Taneja,Rita Sinha,G. K. Patnaik,S. C. Tripathi,Per M. Boll,Sine Larsen +7 more
TL;DR: The authors' sample of rhododendrin exhibited hepatoprotective activity against two hepatotoxins in rats, and the stereochemical assignments to different samples of this glucoside isolated from different plants are established.
