TL;DR: The ternary and quaternary reactions occur at extremely inelastic collisions corresponding to small impact parameters as mentioned in this paper, while more peripheral collisions lead to well-known binary deep-inelastic reactions.

TL;DR: This study constrains nucleon effective masses using Bayesian analyses of flow and stopping observables from the SπRIT experiment, finding a narrow range of preferred values for isoscalar and isovector effective masses and in-medium cross-section enhancement factor.
