TL;DR: In this paper , a new simulation framework of the Pyramid of Khafre and the detector setup is presented, which will serve as a basis to develop the data and image reconstruction algorithms to be used during the future muography campaign in the pyramid.

TL;DR: TOFHIR2 is the readout ASIC for the barrel timing layer of the CMS MIP Timing Detector. It achieves a time resolution of 24 ps initially and 58 ps at the end of the experiment, matching the BTL requirements.
