Davinson,J. Gerl,G. Huber,A. M. Hurst,J. Iwanicki,Björn Jonson,P. Lieb,L. Liljeby,A. Schempp,A. Scherillo,P. Schmidt,G. Walter +72 more
TL;DR: The first radioactive beam experiment performed at the recently commissioned REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN in conjunction with the highly efficient gamma spectrometer MINIBALL confirms the theoretical conjecture that the neutron-rich magnesium isotope 30Mg resides outside the "island of inversion".
Neutron-rich In and Cd isotopes close to the doubly magic Sn 132
A. Scherillo,J. Genevey,J. A. Pinston,A. Covello,H. Faust,A. Gargano,R. Orlandi,G. S. Simpson,I. Tsekhanovich,N. Warr +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a shell model study of the heavy In and Cd nuclei was performed using a realistic interaction derived from the CD-Bonn nucleon-nucleon potential.

TL;DR: In this article, a safe Coulomb-excitation experiment at the radioactive ion-beam facility REX-ISOLDE at CERN was conducted and the reduced transition probabilities B(E2; 0(g. s)(vertical bar) -> 2(1+)) and limits for the quadrupole moments of the first 2(+) excited states in the three isotopes were determined.

TL;DR: A high-spin isomer was observed using the Lohengrin mass spectrometer of the high-flux reactor of the Institut Laue-Langevin, Grenoble.
Shape coexistence in the very neutron-rich odd-odd {sup 96}Rb
J. A. Pinston,J. Genevey,R. Orlandi,A. Scherillo,G. S. Simpson,I. Tsekhanovich,W. Urban,H. Faust,N. Warr +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new level scheme of $^{96}\mathrm{Rb}$ is proposed, where the ground state and low-lying levels of this nucleus are rather spherical, and a rotational band develops at 461-keV energy.
