Scanning force and scanning near-field optical microscopy of organized monolayers incorporating a nonamphiphilic metal dyad
TL;DR: In this paper, a water-soluble metal complex dyad, Rh(III)-X-Ru(II), was incorporated in monolayers at the air/water interface by cospreading with a positively (eicosylamine) or negatively (stearic acid) charged amphiphile.

Structural investigation of dipping lines in Langmuir-Blodgett films by scanning force microscopy
TL;DR: In this article, the thickness of the top layer of a multilayer assembly of Cd arachidate is 2.8 nm, whereas the first monoloayer on mica is apparently thinner by SFM.

Brickstone arrangement in J-aggregates on an amphiphilic merocyanine dye
TL;DR: In this paper, an amphiphilic merocyanine dye was transferred onto solid supports and was investigated by scanning force microscopy (SFM) and the results were consistent with a brickstone arrangement of dye molecules in the Jaggregates.
