TL;DR: Although rare, patients with Hirschsprung's disease (HD) may be admitted with colonic volvulus, an aganglionic segment below sigmoid colon, and a freely mobile mesosigmoid seem to be the cause of sigmoids volvuli.

Hirschsprung-associated congenital anomalies
TL;DR: Although HD seemed to be genetically heterogeneous HACA did not have a genetically different origin from that of HD, there was no difference between HACA group and HD without HACA in terms of sex, birth weight, length of aganglionic segment and consanguinity.

TL;DR: The present cases and review of the literature suggest that longer aganglionic segment carries a higher risk of appendiceal perforation than short-segment disease.

TL;DR: The length of the aganglionic segment was found not to be a risk factor for Hirschsprung-associated enterocolitis, but early diagnosis and prompt treatment were found to decrease the occurrence of preoperative HAEC.

TL;DR: A child with a posttraumatic aneurysmatic arteriovenous (AV) fistula located in the spleen is presented and the increased use of more conservative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in splenic injuries might lead to underestimation of some uncommon complications.
