The utility of severity scoring systems to identify obstetric transports at risk for ICU escalation
Emad Elsamadicy,A. Plotnikova,Jerry Yang,Vainavi Gambhir,M Saad B Zahid,Saadat Pirzada,Quincy K. Tran,Allison Lankford +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe different severity scores associated with obstetric transports initially admitted to labor and delivery (L&D) but requiring escalation to the ICU, and evaluate the SOFA, APACHE-II, Shock (SI) and ROX (ROXi) index scoring systems.

Direct Discharge from the Critical Care Resuscitation Unit: Results from a Longitudinal Assessment
Quincy K. Tran,Austin Widjaja,A. Plotnikova,Jerry Yang,Jacob Epstein,Alexa Aquino,F. Albelo,Taylor Kowansky,Isha Vashee,Samuel Austin,Daniel Haase,Emily Esposito +11 more
TL;DR: Most patients who were discharged from the CCRU did not require any hospital revisits in the first 6 months, and Requiring mechanical ventilation and having soft tissue infection were associated with high unplannedhospital revisits following discharge.

1037: is it safe to be discharged from the resuscitation critical care unit? a longitudinal assessment
Daniel Haase,A. Widjaja,Alexa Aquino,Ayah Aligabi,Vera Bzhilyanskaya,Jacob Epstein,Manal Faisal,Taylor Kowansky,Yiting Lin,Robinson Okolo,A. Plotnikova,Jane Quackenbush,Iana Sahadzic,Aditi Singh,Kaitlyn Tang,Isha Yardi,Erin Niles,E. Hart,Elizabeth M. Powell,Quincy K. Tran +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors performed multivariable logistic regression for risk factors of revisits and found that the most common diagnoses at discharge were soft tissue infection (16.5%), aortic dissection (14.4%), Stroke (11%), high hemoglobin level (gram/deciliter) at admission was associated with no hospital visits (OR 0.77 95%CI 0.6-0.9).
1157: early intervention in the critical care resuscitation unit and mortality among patients with sepsis
N. Emamian,Taylor Miller,M. Abdel-Wahab,Ayah Aligabi,Hammad Baqai,Vera Bzhilyanskaya,Manal Faisal,Robinson Okolo,A. Plotnikova,Iana Sahadzic,Milana Shapsay,Tesia Shi,Aditi Singh,Zoe Glick,Ann Matta,Jeffrey Rea,Emily R. Esposito,Ashley Menne,Daniel Haase,Quincy K. Tran +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used multivariate logistic regression to evaluate the association between lactate clearance and SOFA score reduction during CCRU stay and in-hospital mortality.
