Earthquake resistant structural design commonly used the concept of forced-based design (FBD). The concept is only based on the analysis of elastic structures and not directly indicated the performance of the building against the effects of the occurred earthquake. So, it requires a performance evaluation by conducting analyzes to reach a state of inelastic structure called the concept of performance-based design (PBD). In this study, there are two methods of performance analysis that were based on the lateral displacement of the inelastic conditions, the methods are Direct Displacement Based Design (DDBD) and Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM). The purposes of this study are to identify and to compare between the performance parameters of the methods. The structural model is a dual system regular building which combine a frame structure and reinforced concrete wall. The seismic load design in this study based on SNI 1726-2012. The reviewed parameter values are the displacement, base shear force, effective damping, and effective vibrating times. The results of this study indicated that all the parameter values of the DDBD method analysis are larger than CSM method. DDBD method produced a target displacement 0.545 m, the base shear force 38293.25 kN, effective damping 14.01%, and the effective vibrating times 3.826 seconds. Mean while the method of CSM produced target displacement 0.175 m, the base shear force 21728.978 kN, effective damping 5.40% and the effective vibrating times of 1.314 seconds. The evaluation of the structure performances which is based on ATC-40 indicated the DDBD method was on damage control level, whereas the CSM method was on the immediate occupancy level. Kinerja Struktur Gedung Beraturan Dual System (Concrete Frame - RC Wall Structures) Menggunakan Metode Direct Displacement Based Design Dan Capacity Spectrum Method

Struktur penahan gaya gempa secara umum memakai konsep Force Based Design . Konsep dari Force Based Design hanya berdasarkan kondisi elastis struktur dan tidak sesuai dengan kondisi sebenarnya dimana struktur gedung mengalami kondisi inelastis ketika mengalami peristiwa gempa. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis evaluasi kinerja struktur untuk mengetahui kinerja gedung ketika mencapai kondisi inelastis yang merupakan konsep Performance Based Design . Dalam penilitian ini terdapat dua metode yang dipakai untuk analisis gedung ketika mengalami kondisi inelastis, yaitu metode Direct Displacement Based Design dan metode analisis Pushover . Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan membandingkan kinerja struktur bangunan antara metode-metode tersebut. Penelitian digunakan program ETABS untuk mengetahui berapa besar gaya dan perpindahan yang dapat ditahan oleh struktur. Melalui program ETABS dapat diketahui pula level kinerja struktur bangunan tersebut. Tipe struktur bangunan yang dimodelkan berupa bangunan dengan sistem ganda. Bangunan terbuat dari beton bertulang, jarak bentang arah memanjang 53.7 m, jarak bentang arah memendek 36.2 m, dengan ketinggian 64.5 m, tinggi tiap lantai 4.3 m. Penelitian mengacu pada SNI 1726:2012, ATC -40, FEMA 356, dan FEMA 440.

Irregular building structures increasingly varied, such as setback buildings and buildings with soft level stiffness irregularity on the first floor of the building (soft first story). High-rise buildings are at risk of collapse due to earthquakes. Designing efficiency requires a Direct Displacement Based Design (DDBD) method. In this study, the DDBD method uses pushover analysis on soft first-story buildings without a setback,1-way setback, and 2-way setback. This study aims to obtain the value software's value of displacement, story drift, ductility, plastic hinge response, and performance levels study indicates that the displacement value of the soft first-story building without setback is smaller than the setback building. In addition, the value of displacement and story drift in the setback building with a soft first story is influenced by the small setback area ratio. The highest displacement and story drift values in the X direction are 1-way setback buildings, which are 0.422 m and 0.0147 m, while in the Y-direction, the 2-way setback buildings are 0.44 m and 0.0167 m. The most significant value of actual ductility is a building without setbacks with a soft first-story. The plastic hinge response in all three buildings shows a strong column weak beam. The level of structural performance in all three buildings is at the level of Immediate Occupancy, where the value of the performance level of the FEMA 356 method is greater than the ATC 40 method.

Structural performance of 1 way and 2 way setback with the soft first story using ddbd

Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis pengaruh ketidakberaturan torsi terhadap struktur dengan menggunakan metode Force Based Design sebagai perencanaan gaya gempa. Penelitian dilakukan pada bangunan tidak beraturan tipe diskontinuitas diafragma pada lantai 3. Pemodelan pertama menggunakan struktur sistem rangka pemikul momen khusus (SRPMK) kemudian pemodelan kedua menggunakan struktur sistem ganda (dinding geser dan SRPMK). Hasil penelitian diperoleh gaya geser dasar gempa pada bangunan dengan struktur sistem ganda lebih besar 47% dibandingkan dengan struktur SRPMK. Pada kedua model bangunan, adanya opening plat lantai yang lebih dari 50% di lantai 3 mempengaruhi kekakuan kolom di lantai 4, sehingga simpangan di lantai 4 lebih besar daripada lantai lainnya. Adanya ketidakberaturan torsi mempengaruhi gaya dalam yang terjadi. Dari hasil uji independent T dan Mann Whitney U yang dilakukan pada gaya dalam balok dan kolom didapat bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan setelah penggunaan struktur sistem ganda.

Performance Based Seismic Design

In designing seismic-resistant buildings, it is commonly used Forced-Based Design method. The concept of the Force-Based Design (FBD) method is based on an elastic analysis of the structure and indirectly shows the performance level of the structure towards the effects of the seismic forces. Therefore, it is required an approach that capable of analyzing and evaluating the performance of the inelastic structural response; it is called Performance-Based Design method. This paper uses two methods of Performance-Based Design, there are Direct Displacement-Based Design and Capacity Spectrum Method, by using pushover analysis. The objectives of the research are to analyze and compare performance level of the building in inelastic condition by using these two methods. The structural model reinforced concrete special moment frames. Seismic design code that used in this study is SNI 1726:2012. The reviewed parameter values are displacement and story drift values, estimated plastic hinge response, and performance level of the building from two methods. As the results, all the parameter values of DDBD analysis are more significant than CSM. DDBD produces the drift and displacement values of 0.668 m with the rebar ratio is more significant than 1.00. Meanwhile, the CSM produces the drift and displacement values of 0.501 m with the rebar ratio of 1.00. The failure mechanism of both methods indicates the strong column weak beam where the beams should fail prior to the columns. The structure performance level which refers to ATC-40 indicate that both DDBD method and CSM method are in Damage Control level despite displacement target of the two methods are different which is DDBD produces displacement target of 0.376 m while CSM produces the value of 0.345 m.

Implementation of Construction Projects that run within a limited time must be removed from the factors that cause project delays to run optimally and appropriately. This study aims to analyze the factors causing delays in road rehabilitation and maintenance in Kejayan Purwosari (Link 197) construction projects due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The study population consist of 80 people and the number of research samples is the total population. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires. Techniques for analyzing research data using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study prove that the factors of Manpower, Materials and Equipment have no significant effect on Project Delay. Meanwhile, the factors of Construction Method, Relationship and Time and Control have a significant effect on Project Delay.

Road maintenance is an activity to maintain, repair, add or replace existing physical buildings so that their functions can be maintained or enhanced for a longer period. This maintenance guideline is intended to regulate the procedures for carrying out rigid pavement maintenance activities, and maintain stable serviceability conditions, to provide safety and comfort to road users. This guideline for the maintenance of rigid pavements includes descriptions of the types of damage that commonly occur in rigid pavements, their possible causes, follow-up consequences, recommendations for handling, and methods.
