Spectrum and bleeding complications of sonographically guided interventions of the liver and pancreas
Markus Frieser,A Lindner,S. Meyer,M. Westerteicher,J. Hänsler,T. Haendl,E.G. Hahn,Deike Strobel,Thomas Bernatik +8 more
TL;DR: It was showed that liver cirrhosis with a low thromboplastin time (< 50 %) seems to be the most important risk factor for patients and sonographically guided interventions are safe and have low complication rates considering careful performance and contraindications.

Postinterventional pain and complications of sonographically guided interventions in the liver and pancreas.
A Lindner,Markus Frieser,R Heide,Dane Wildner,Markus F. Neurath,Wolfgang Dauth,Thomas Bernatik,Deike Strobel +7 more
TL;DR: The peri- and postinterventional pain of patients undergoing sonographically guided punctures of the liver and pancreas was analyzed and found that most patients suffer only from mild pain postinterventionally.

Dual-focus narrow band imaging for the detection of intestinal metaplasia and atrophic gastritis
Gian Eugenio Tontini,A Lindner,Michael Vieth,Maurizio Vecchi,Markus F. Neurath,Helmut Neumann +5 more
TL;DR: A case in which dual-focus narrow band imaging was used to diagnose atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia and obtain targeted biopsies in the same session is reported, demonstrating for the first time the potential of dual- focus NBI for in vivo diagnosis of early gastric lesions.
Metastatic insulinoma - prolonged survival after multimodal approach.
Alexander F. Hagel,WH Hagel,A Lindner,Ferdinand J. Kammerer,Markus F. Neurath,Peter C. Konturek,Igor Alexander Harsch +6 more
TL;DR: Since the diagnosis of extended disease was established, the patient has survived for 36 months and is presently symptom free for 8 months, regarded as the result of a multimodal approach and the extensive use of local tumor therapy.
