TL;DR: Angular distributions and angular correlations have been measured for the emission of one and two \ensuremath{\alpha}-particles in the $18}mathrm{O}+^{207,208}\mathm{Pb} and $^{209}-Bi$ reactions at several beam energies above the Coulomb barrier.

TL;DR: Martinez Heimann, Diego, and Martinez-Heimann as discussed by the authors have presented an analysis of the performance of the proposed Tandar project in the area of Investigación y Aplicaciones No Nucleares.

Characterization of low-energy nuclear reactions involving emission of few non-relativistic particles
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a general procedure and associated computational tool for the kinematical description and characterization of nuclear reactions with several fragments in the exit channel, where the emphasis is placed on the purely experimental extraction of the most physically relevant magnitudes and their distributions, which can eventually be compared with the results of generic model calculations.

Breakup excitation function at backward angles from α-spectra in the 6Li + 144Sm system
TL;DR: In this article, breakup cross sections were obtained for the 6 Li + 144 Sm system at energies above and below the Coulomb barrier from a detailed analysis of the data recorded at backward angles.
