The Determination of alpha_s from Tau Decays Revisited
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a fit to include tau hadronic spectral moments in the expansion of the Adler function and showed that the effect of incomplete knowledge of the series is reduced by using the contour-improved calculation, as opposed to fixed-order perturbation theory which manifests convergence problems.

The Determination of $\alpha_s$ from Tau Decays Revisited
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used a global electroweak fit to derive the fourth-order perturbative coefficient of the Hadronic spectral moments in the expansion of the Adler function and showed that the fit is more stable with respect to the missing higher order contributions and to renormalization scale variations.

TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive review of physics at an LHC in the energy range of $e+e^-$ −1/3/TeV is presented in view of recent and expected LHC results, experiments from low energy as well as astroparticle physics.

ALEPH Tau Spectral Functions and QCD
M. Davier,A. Höcker,Zhiqing Zhang +2 more
- 01 Jul 2007
TL;DR: In this paper, the ALEPH spectral functions and branching ratios of hadronic τ decays were used to compare the logarithmic slope of α s −1 ( s ) with QCD at a precision of 4%.

Update of the ALEPH non-strange spectral functions from hadronic \tau decays
TL;DR: In this article, an update of the ALEPH non-strange spectral functions from hadronic decays is presented, with the main improvement related to the use of a new method to unfold the measured mass spectra from detector effects.
