Stimulus control of spatial behavior on the eight-arm maze in rats ☆ ☆☆
TL;DR: It is suggested that when extramaze stimuli are available, rats tend to use such stimuli in a configurational manner to locate the arms rather than as a list of items processed independently of their spatial relationships to each other.

The effects of restraint and noncontingent preshock on subsequent escape learning in the rat
R.J Bracewell,A. H. Black +1 more
TL;DR: Three experiments investigated the effects of restraint and of inescapable fixed duration preshocks on subsequent shuttlebox escape-from-shock learning and found no effects were found for low fixed-intensity or random-intensity preshock nor for a condition in which movement was rewarded during Preshock.

Heart Rate: Changes during Conditioned Suppression in Rats
Leyla De Toledo,A. H. Black +1 more
TL;DR: Heart rate of rats was recorded in the Estes-Skinner conditioned emotional response situation and change in heart rate was conditioned more slowly than suppression of bar-pressing and was more variable than suppression.

Transfer Following Operant Conditioning in the Curarized Dog
