TL;DR: In this article, the first experimental evidence has been obtained for steering of charged particle trajectories by a bent silicon crystal, which corresponds to a bending radius of 38 cm and the effective transverse component of the electric field acting on the proton beam is equal to 240 MV/cm.

TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental setup is described which is designed to study radiation effects due to the channeling of high energy charged particles in a single crystal, which consists of drift chambers and scintillation counters and operates on an electron-positron beam line at the Superkhov accelerator.
