TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of beam orientation on tokamak performance has been studied and a neutral beamline was re-oriented from injecting co-parallel to counter parallel, which will increase the available balanced neutral injection power from 14 MW to 27 MW.

Scrape-off layer modeling using coupled plasma and neutral transport codes
TL;DR: An effort is made to refine the neutral transport model used in the B2 edge plasma code by coupling it to the DEGAS Monte Carlo code, finding that on the order of 100 iterations between the two codes are required to achieve a converged solution.
