Potential observations of an electron-emitting rocket payload and other related plasma measurements
G. G. Managadze,V.M. Balebanov,A.A. Burchudladze,T.I. Gagua,N.A. Leonov,S.B. Lyakhov,A. A. Martinson,A.D. Mayorov,Willibald Riedler,Martin Friedrich,Klaus Torkar,A. N. Laliashvili,Z. Klos,Z. Zbyszynski +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, an attempt is made to outline the basic processes in the plasma such as beam plasma discharge (BPD), which is observed as BPD at low altitudes and as discharges in the E × B field at other heights.

Peculiarities of the environment disturbance during the electron beam injection from the rocket
R. Z. Sagdeev,G. G. Managadze,A.D. Mayorov,S.B. Lyakhov,A. A. Martinson,T.I. Gagua,Yu.A. Romanovsky,T.G. Adeishvily,N.A. Leonov +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a beam of electrons (energy 2 to 3.5 keV, current 0.2 to 0.4A) was injected from aboard the rocket at 100 to 150 km, at the moments the beam was injected perturbations of the near-rocket region are observed with a cross-section of about 500 m, it is much larger than the region over which the injected beam is extended.

Experiments with injection of powerful plasma jet into the ionosphere
R. Z. Sagdeev,G. G. Managadze,A. A. Martinson,Yu.A. Romanovsky,R.I. Moisya,Willibald Riedler,Martin Friedrich,T. G. Adeishvily,S.B. Lyakhov,L. S. Novikov,N.A. Leonov,T.I. Gagua,I.I. Slyusarenko +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, two rocket experiments with high power lithium plasma injection are described, and the results of onboard magnetometer, mass spectrometer, photometer, plasma, corpuscular and ground radar measurements are discussed.

Potential Observations of an Electron-Emitting Rocket Payload
Martin Friedrich,Willibald Riedler,Willibald Riedler,Klaus Torkar,G. G. Managadze,N.A. Leonov,S.B. Lyakhov,A. A. Martinson +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, direct and indirect potential measurements of a very high flying sounding rocket, which carried a powerful electron accelerator, are reported, and the observed payload potential during the pulses does not always follow the accelerator voltage.
