Cold neutron moderator on an upgraded IBR-2 reactor: The first set of results
V. D. Anan’ev,A. A. Belyakov,M. V. Bulavin,A. E. Verkhoglyadov,S. A. Kulikov,K. A. Mukhin,E. P. Shabalin +6 more
TL;DR: The first criticality of a new KZ-202 neutron moderator on the IBR-2M reactor is achieved in this article, where the combination of two units in one moderator makes it possible to simultaneously take the thermal and cold neutron spectra for extracted-beam spectrometers.

Control system of pelletized cold neutron moderator at the IBR-2 reactor
A. A. Belyakov,M. V. Bulavin,A. N. Chernikov,A. Churakov,S. A. Kulikov,E. Litvinenko,K. A. Mukhin,A. Petrenko,T. B. Petukhova,A. P. Sirotin,E. P. Shabalin,V. K. Shirokov,A. Verhoglyadov +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the unique pelletized cold neutron moderator CM-202 at the IBR-2 reactor was put into test operation and have already worked more than 2000 hours, and the working cycles of moderator confirmed the reliability and stable operation of the whole control system.

A test setup for the bead cryogenic neutron moderator of the IBR-2 reactor
V. D. Anan’ev,A. A. Belyakov,A. A. Bogdzel,M. V. Bulavin,A. E. Verkhoglyadov,E. Kulagin,S. A. Kulikov,A. A. Kustov,A. A. Lyubimtsev,K. A. Mukhin,T. B. Petukhova,A. P. Sirotin,Alexander Fedorov,E. P. Shabalin,D.E. Shabalin,V. K. Shirokov +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the design and main characteristics of a test setup for studying the serviceability of the bead cryogenic neutron moderator and determining its optimal operating conditions on the fast pulsed IBR-2 reactor are presented.

Current status of advanced pelletized cold moderators development for IBR-2M research reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, the first advanced pelletized cold neutron moderator is prepared to be put into operation at the IBR-2M pulsed research reactor, which provides long-wavelength neutrons to the most of neutron spectrometers at the beams of the reactor.
Gain Factor of the Pelletized Cold Neutron Moderator at 22 K
TL;DR: In this paper, the current results of operation of the first CM1 cryogenic moderator in the direction of neutron beams 7, 8, 10, and 11 at the power of IBR-2 with a new cryogenic system are presented.
